Beacon Reel was founded in 1978 in Beacon Falls Connecticut by Jack and Randall Watkins. Having an already well-established wire drawing and machine manufacturing business "The Watkins Brothers Machinery Corp" they decided to extend their services to their customers by offering to repair their reels. That decision enabled them to build their newest venture "The Beacon Reel Co." and proved themselves to be quite a success.
Now located in New Milford Connecticut, Beacon Reel continues to service their customers with the same quality and service as in the beginning. Business is now overseen by Jack's daughter "Nancy" and Randall's son "Randy", both with the same desire to provide the best quality and workmanship for their customers as the founders of Beacon Reel Co. did over 40 years ago.
